FAQ

What do you mean by the word “witch”?
My definition of a witch is a person who is dedicated to expressing the divine feminine power within all of us.

What’s your advice for poets who are starting out?
Read tons of poetry by others; read your own poems aloud as you are writing them; and revise, revise, revise.  All the rest of my advice is written in my book A Poet’s Craft.

What happened to Poetcraft Circles and Goddess Circles?
Both of these online communities have reincarnated into the comments area of my Poetry Witch Blog.  You can also connect with me online at Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook.

How did you become a witch?
I am now writing a memoir that fully answers this question!  The short answer is that it was a combination of three things:  being a feminist, being a spiritual person, and caring about the earth.

Do you still teach poetry privately?
I have mostly stopped my private teaching, but I still do it occasionally.  If you are really interested in working with me, just drop me a note through the contact page.
